We had a long, hard winter here in Southern Michigan. I kept checking for my Milkweed and was getting very worried that it was not going to come up. My orange Butterfly weed already has buds on it and my Joe Pye Weed is about a foot tall. Finally yesterday I had a couple of Milkweed plants pop thru the ground. Today their little leaves are open. I was so thrilled! My Monarchs WILL have food!!
