I have 4 birdhouses I set up originally for tree swallows.
Tree swallows are nesting in 2, eastern bluebirds in the other 2.
We also have a small farm pond at the back end of the property which is visited by a large beautiful Great Blue Heron a few times a week. I can only assume it's the same one that's been coming for the last several years only this year it's much bigger and a beautiful blue! It spends a lot of time on the bank preening itself. Got to try to get a picture!
