Rubythroats usually show up at our feeder as soon as the bleeding heart flowers begin to bloom. The pink flowers opened on Saturday May 10. The very next day, the first male ruby-throated hummingbird was hovering at and sipping from the feeder AND the flowers. Just amazing!
