Having noted the report of monarchs sightings at Maumee Bay State Park, Ohio, I phoned Point Pelee National Park, Ontario, today.

I have received a report of a monarch sighting last Thursday, May 8th, at Point Pelee National Park. I will be gathering details to confirm this sighting.
The observer is a well known naturalist, so the sighting should be reliable.
