Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 03/26/2008

Number: 1

Near the entrance to our school, our Journey North tulips made a perfect spring view for our neighborhood. They began to emerge during our spring vacation. People walking by the school were amazed at the enormous splash of red color throughout our tulip garden. Staff and students commented about the beautiful display upon our return back to the school from spring break. When our tulips first emerged from the ground, we noticed that the buds were kind of pink. We were amazed at how many actually were popping up through the soil. There were a few that did not look real healthy, but these were our experimental tulips that we did not plant using the Journey North directions.
