I received a telephone call tonight from retired Toronto resident and butterfly enthusiast Barry Harrison. While hiking in Sylvan Park in east Toronto today, Barry spotted a female monarch "hanging around"
some black swallowwort.
Barry noted that even today with the sun out, the cool winds chilled the air.
