We were out in the garden trying to dig out some weeds to plant tomatoes. I moved over to the milkweed patch to loosen some more weeds and there was a 2 inch high milkweed plant peeking out at me. A careful look around enabled me to see 4 more plants. I expect most of them will break through this week.
No leaves yet, just spikes, but it won't be long now.
