I saw a shadow on the ground of something flying overhead, when I looked up it was a Monarch flying overhead. It was 10-20 feet over my head and flew over my neighbor's house into the trees at approximately 6pm. Weather was a warm 75 degrees. It was difficult to see if it was a male or female so I checked all the common and tropical milkweed for eggs but did not find any. This is over a month earlier than the first Monarch I spotted here last year.
