We were camping near Boulder Junction Wisconsin. I put up the hummingbird feeder & immediately there were 2 male ruby throats battling for the feeder. Also saw a few females. Interestly, 4 Baltimore Orioles swooped in, 2 male, 2 females for a drink from the hummingbird feeder. I quickly put out oranges & grape jelly in hopes they would stay, but they didn't. We didn't see the Orioles the rest of the week we were there. Last year the same week there were Monarch Butterflies. None this year & still no sight of them here in Whitewater WI.
