Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/30/2008

Number: 1

Although,it is not the first hummingbird I have seen here in Barrie this week, the strange thing is that yesterday I had a male hummingbird at my feeder all day! He would feed then make himself comfortable on the chicken wire we have around the vegetable garden (the dog of course)all afternoon until evening. And it was raining all day. Do you think he was marking his territory,or maybe he and a female have made a nest in one of my fruit trees...very beautiful!
