I'm very confused about the migration of the Ruby-Throats earlier this spring. Myself and my neighbor across the road here both had visitations by the Rubies a few weeks ago, but since then they have seemed to disappear. There has been no further sighting here or any where else nearby in our county.
I do understand the different complex issues in regards to the initial migration of this species. What's troubling though is that they have not returned to our area. Our temperatures have been well above the minimal temps needed for them to survive. Has anyone else observed this when it comes to the appearance of the Ruby-Throats? Any correspondence from all others who have experienced the same issue would be appreciated using my personal email. cadillac48@alltel.net
