Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/01/2008

Number: 1

Went to pick up my sons friend to come over and play. When we got there his mother asked me to take a look at what she had found, she wasn't sure if it was an egg or not. Yes it was definitely a monarch egg that she had found. She likes to find at least three or more so that each of her children have one to raise at the same time. They are finally in the neighborhood, and soon to be collecting on my counter. Last year we hatched and released 207 monarchs along with a hand full of other miscellaneous butterflies and moths.
