Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/29/2008

Number: 1

It appears the first substantial wave of monarchs has arrived back to our area. I had a report of one sighted at Talbotville south of London on Wed. May 28th by Gord L. I had one here at Monarch Landing on Thurs. May 29th. and another one Sunday June 1st. I saw another single individual on Monday June 2nd. about 5km north of here heading east. Yesterday Tuesday June 3rd I had reports of 4 more monarchs from members of our Ottervalley Naturalists group. This includes a sighting of 2 together just east of here near the Elgin-Norfolk county line.
