At 9:30 AM I finally had a female monarch laying eggs in my garden. I found 10 eggs without even trying. The milkweed is up to 12 inches tall already, I would have normally expected to see eggs for at least 2 weeks before this due to the quicker development of the milkweed. Was the weird weather this spring the reason for their delay?
