Our Indigo Bunting returned once again this year. He has a territory that is behind our house in a small field. Some days I can approach it without it flying away and other days it is almost tame. And allows me to get within a couple of feet before flying away. Could be that it has a nest nearby, I see him disappearing into the high grass and stays there for quite some times in the exact same spot.
