Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/15/2008

Number: 1

while playing at a playground at a highway rest stop I spotted an adult monarch. I knew it was a monarch because it is a common butterfly with distinctive markings and I once found a monarch caterpillar. It changed into a cocoon then one day we saw the butterfly come out. I was chasing the butterfly at the rest stop.
