I have experienced the influx of Monarchs and the discovery of eggs somewhat slower than usual, although I have been able to recover about 40 eggs so far mostly along the edge of Lake Ontario (e.g. Rouge Park). The earliest discovery was 3 eggs on June 6, so this is day 17 and none has pupated, although the three are 4th instars.
