Number: 1

My daughter & I went to visit the Fanwood Nature Center to look for a walk. Outisd ethe Nature Center, a Boy Scout working for his Eagle Scout project has established a Monarch Waystation. He started in early spring with putting down a lasagna garden & it has bloomed beautifully by now. There were many bees, and other pollinating insects. Then my daughter sighted this beautiful Monarch butterfly that was attracted to the brilliant pink Zinnias. We watched for over 10 minutes & it flitted from one to the other, flew away & kept coming back to the Zinnias. It was quite a wonderful sight. I took some pictures of this butterfly too. We thank the young Eagle Scout & our luck to see this single Monarch butterfly!
