Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 07/18/2002

Number: 1

not many monarchs sighting except for laid eggs and larvae. At this point we have 11 larvas in rearing. Two in pupae stages. Two releases ( male and female ) One monarch had two probs and was not able eat and lies at rests in the fridge. This one baffles me, a larva went in j formation, and suddenly was flat - weird. All are in good shape - lots of common milk weed around for food.
Its been hot 80's,humid and overwhelmed by skeeters and algae.
