We returned from vacation to find a robin had built a nest on an outdoor speaker - right next to our dining room sliding door!
Using another door so she doesn't get spooked, in the last 10 days or so I have been able to talk to her and walk around while doing gardening chores. I do miss not using the outdoor speakers but don't want to frighten her with the speaker vibration. I did lay out some apple and wild birdseed but she has ignored both. Since we have temps in the 100's w/low humidity I am going to set up a birdbath w/running water.
Does anyone know if it would be a good idea to add worms to my flowerbed (no grass in the back yard) to make it easier for her to feed the young once they hatch?
