Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 07/26/2008

Number: 1

Appear to be Ruby Throated. Have seen clearly in Northern Virginia. Perhaps I've only seen the female. The green metallic sheen is there but the distinctive ruby throat is not seen. I planted a large clump of "Bee Balm" the bright red attracted them and right now they are feeding all day long.
