Last year my daughter and I raised close to 100 butterflies. This year we are at 190-200... but we had to destroy 47 chrysalis due to OE. We gather all our caterpillars and eggs from the wild and feed them with the same food from the area found. I am finding that OE is much more prevelent this year than last year. Only 1 chrysalis was notedlast year with the disease.
