At 10:30am I saw the first female Monarch laying eggs in my milkweed patch after enjoying nectar at my sunflowers. At approx. 2:30pm there was another female laying eggs. I saw one last one a few hours later, also laying eggs. I'll be monitoring the patch regularly for the first sight of caterpillars.
