Today I was in transit driving from Missouri toward Springfield, IL for a political rally.
My route in Illinois was on Interstate 36/72 heading EAST.
3 miles West of exit 42 (Rt. 100) which is just East Illinois River Bridge..........I saw 1 Monarch butterfly flying South across the highway.....flying at a height of approx. 15-20 feet, the day was with sunshine and a temp. around 70F, very little wind if any at all.........the time of day 10:40AM.
