Since the wind was coming out of the NNE (20 degrees) at 5 pm we drove over to Lake Michigan about 40 miles from us. We got there around 6 pm when we've seen a major migration a couple of years ago under those conditions and at about that time of day but a few days later. Today not a monarch to be seen.
