Around 6:30 pm monarchs started arriving in our heavily treed
back yard and gathering on about 4 tree branches. The temperature was
about 26°C, no wind, light clouds. Guessing about 100 butterflies
gathered over a 30 minute period, mostly arriving from the South. We
are in the middle of a subdivision. This is the first time we have seen this.
