I saw 4 Monarchs in less than 5 minutes this morning between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. One was definitely male and two were female. I was unable to get a close enough look at the 4th one to be sure of sex. Predictably the male was looking for females. The females were mostly laying eggs. In addition I discovered 4 more caterpillars that I would estimate to be 3rd instar.
