Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 08/29/2008

Number: 100

Every year, (going on 31) the monarch butterflies stop off in our yard on their way north in the spring and south in the summer. When we first noticed them we had hundred of them, in the last couple of years we have only had 30 - 40 but the numbers seem to be increasing again. They stay for a few days to take advantage of the flowers that we have planted for them and then are on their way. Tonight we we had about 35. Just wanted to share this.
