For the last week ruby-throated hummingbirds are at the feeders constantly. We have watched them feed piggy backed. Two cups of sugar water last two days sometimes three.
We watched a hornet chasing away the hummers. It waould chase them for three feet then return to the feeder and chase again and again. ( I took care of the hornet!)An agressive one as this was not welcome on the pathway to the back of the house.
