We have had very low numbers of Monarchs here in Eastern Ontario. (Ingleside 45N 75W). Although we have seen few of them, my wife, Wilma has been busy searching milkweed patches along a local highway has been very successful. We have 178 caterpillars in our cages, 110 of them are now in chrysalis form, and the rest are munching milkweed. We also had ten die due to Tachina flies. We tagged and released our first Monarch this afternoon. Luckily we ordered 200 tags this year.
