From about 5:30p.m. until dusk, around 50-60, large, all moving generally southwest. We are right along the Corpus Christi/Nueces Bay. Will be at the same location tonight so will observe again. Also, MANY other little butterflies that were gathering and flying closer to the ground, the butterflies around 8-30 feet up in the air.

Editor's Note: This butterfly migration observation is most likely not of monarchs so we have placed it in the "signs of fall" category.
