My grandson and I collected 9 caterpillars for local classrooms in about 15 minutes in the field beside the organic garden. As we returned to the car, we saw a cluster of 3 Monarchs in the garden. Unfortunately, the local farmer is set to mow the field where we found so many larvae, so I'm not sure if the other classrooms will get any next week. Last year they didn't cut hay at this time.
