First Monarch eggs laid on milkweed last week (S. American type) and brought inside before hatching to protect from predators.
Eggs hatched Friday and Saturday (8-29 and 8-30) 7 caterpillars growing well.
Have seen male monarchs in garden several times during the past week.
Two monarchs spotted in town, one flying south.
