We were able to catch and tag a female monarch in our garden yesterday (3rd). She was fresher than the male we had tagged last Monday (1st). Again, lantana seems to be the drawing nectar plant. My husband netted her very soon after going into the garden so we don't know if she was seeking milkweed for ovipositing.
