Beautiful late summer day, sunny and the temperature is 85 degrees. Hard to belive fall is less than a month away! Leaves on trees still green, very little color change as of yet. On the forest floor lots of acorns, both red and white oak were visible. Students also found many pinecones on the forest floor. Lots of activity by squirrels scampering around and collecting food for the winter.
