Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/10/2008

Number: 1

I have sighted and identified carefully a female Black-chinned Hummingbird. It is a young female that has visited my 3 feeders in my yard for at least a week now. Very active from 5pm to 7pm. Hangs out after feeding on a Magnolia tree in my yard. I have also sighted at least 4 other types but this black chinned female seems to be the only one that keeps coming around. She must like my Japanese garden. Pretty rare in Kentucky. I live 6 blocks from the Ohio river.
