I believe these are monarchs. They have been here for a few weeks. Sadly, so many of them die from vehicles. I wish they could fly a bit higher than the vehicles. The whole county of Atascosa and Frio county have them. I have a large yard with lots of vegetation and flowers, thousands are quite content here. They show a preference to the ground getting wet.

We also get geese and green jays in the winter. All are quite a sight to see.
