flock of 20 stayed from early spring, mated and fledged to 60! filled 1 quart feeders every other week at the begining, they also filled to bbursting on the Pearl River Bottom swamp Mosquitos. By mid summer it was two feeders a twice a week and by August it was 2 feeders as in 1/2 gallon every day! they like Neon Purple best. Our children's project, as uposed to clear, red, yellow or black. Sunday they fed with the most frenzy ever and this morning they had taken wings. One lonely bird remains of over 60.
