As 3 students and I were collecting milkweed at 5pm in the Central Middle School garden next door to our Elementary school we saw overhead a Monarch and the kids yelled out. We observed it nectaring on some purple asters that are in full bloom. Then it soared overhead and disappeared right before our eyes. A beautiful sight. It appeared to be a very bright Monarch.
