Last night I noticed several Monarchs floating in from the fields surrounding our property. I counted 30 in about 10 minutes coming from the fields at dusk to rest on the tree before it rained. They rest on the east side of a very old stand of tall Poplar trees where the first rays of the sun will warm them in the morning. (Same tree as last year!)
