Today, Sunday August31, 2008, while driving on Interstate Highway 55 Southbound from a visit in the Chicago I observed one (1) only Monarch flying about 10-20 feet above the ground in a SSW direction across the highway. The day was beautiful full sunshine and a temp. in the 70's........no idea as to wind direction or speed. Time of day was 1:00PM.
