Saturday morning a Green Hummingbird was feeding from a red Canna flower and Geranium,in front of my kitchen window. Rested for less then a minute on a balustrade and then took off.
I have never seen them in Queens N.Y. but, many many times in the Catskills. They come to feed on Geranium flowers on the deck.
It was awesome.
