I noticed, what appeared to 1000, monarch butterflies all over my Elm tree. There were also small bees present. The butterflies were all over the tree. They could be most anything since I am not at all familiar with butterflies, at least in Texas. They seemed to be very young butterflies, colors were not bright at all. Their wing span was at the most 2" with the center being an orange color and the outside wing being a dark brown/black?
