The last 10 days "my" hummers have become a LOT more vocal. Their twittering at the feeders has woken me up early in the morning and continues until dusk. Their feeding has increased dramatically, too. This time they emptied their feeders in under two days (I don't usually fill them full)- an event that hadn't happened all season! As I was refilling them, there was a hummer hovering & looking in the window at me, as if encouraging me to work faster!
