Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/25/2008

Number: 1

Two students spotted a Monarch flying over a parked car at a Hardee's Restaurant while traveling on a bus to a field trip. They saw it move from car to car. The temp. here was about 75 degrees and it was very humid. The children thought that the butterfly seemed lost. I as their teacher thought my 2 students were quite observant to catch a glimpse of the Monarch from the distance we were. They shared the discovery with me and I too saw it. This is the 3rd butterfly we have seen as a group of students.
