Looks like a second surge of migrating monarchs is passing through the area (from the NE states). Went to a monarch tagging on 09/20 and there were 0 tagged at a waystation, however when we went out 9/25, we were able to tag 5 monarchs in the span of 15', including a M & F on the same bush.

Plan to use the rest of the tags this weekend as my partners saw several today moving through the area.
