Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/28/2008

Number: 1

This was the first time I have seen a migration of Monarchs. It was one of the most peaceful and graceful sightings of nature I have encountered in my life. The sighting lasted for over 1:30 minutes long and still going.

I wish I could give you an estimate. All I know is that there were THOUSANDS, this started about 2:00pm and they had seemed to rest here overnight, cause they were on the front porch at 2:00am. That's why I googled the migration. The next day a cold front came through.
