I've been watching Thousands of Butterfly heading from North to South over Newport Oregon. Very warm day with a 3 to 5 mph North to South wind. About 200 to 300 butterfly in a 12 to 15 minutes.
Editor's note: The butterflies this observer saw are most likely Painted Ladies, a species that migrates to the deserts of California and northern Mexico from as far north as British Columbia.
Re-establishes hope that we haven't poisoned things to an END.
