While out driving today we noticed several sugar maples that were beginning to show patches of bright red color, as well as some sumacs that were flaming red. There were a few patches of yellow color as well from various other trees, but most leaves in the area are still green.
We also saw yellow goldenrods and purple asters in full bloom along the roadsides, a sure sign of fall!
