Finally the migration is beginning to come to our area. Today from 2PM to 4:15PM I observed a total of 10 Monarchs......they were not flying together BUT solo flights during this 2+ hr. duration. All flying in a S to SW direction, temp.70 degrees, humidity @ 40%, wind was calm...no wind, the height of their flights was all between 10-25 ft.. Overall a totally beautiful day with full sunshine and great visibility (10 miles).
